Matt Thomson

Matt Thomson owns and manages the Wilkins operation in Plymouth. He lives with his wife in Ivybridge, and brings a calm confidence to his work that stems from a previous career in the hustle and bustle of London.
Matt is a fully trained, HETAS Approved Sweep and a member of APICS (Association of Professional Independent Chimney Sweeps). He is Trading Standards Approved which means you can 'Buy with confidence'.
He offers a full range of chimney sweeping services, from open fires, Agas and woodburners to the fitting of cowls and caps and the diagnosis of chimney problems. He can also fit CO alarms and carry out CCTV surveys. During the first 6 months of the year, Matt offers a patio and driveway cleaning service in addition to sweeping.
Matt has enjoyed comprehensive training and is regularly assessed on his sweeping standards by experienced, expert sweeps.
He carries public liability as well as professional indemnity insurance, and has also undergone a full police check.
